Pre-Theatre Dining Tips for the Apollo Victoria Theatre
- Wilton Road is your high street. The stretch of Wilton Road between Victoria Street and Warwick Way has the highest concentration of restaurants closest to the Apollo Victoria. You can eat at A Wong, Kazan, or Pimlico Fresh without walking more than 2 minutes.
- Book for 5:15pm or 5:30pm. Wicked's evening performances start at 7:30pm. Allow at least an hour for a sit-down meal and 15 minutes to walk to the theatre and find your seats.
- Victoria Station is a fallback. If you arrive late and cannot make a restaurant reservation, Market Hall Victoria inside the station has solid quick options.
- Belgravia is a short walk. If you have a little more time, walk 10 minutes south-west to Elizabeth Street in Belgravia for a charmingly villagey dining experience away from the station crowds.
- Wicked matinees start at 2:30pm. For Saturday matinees, plan a lunch rather than a dinner. Many Wilton Road restaurants serve lunch from noon.

Plan Your Night Out
A pre-theatre dinner and Wicked is a brilliant London evening. Here is how to put it together:
- Book Wicked tickets first. Check dates on the Wicked page and choose your preferred performance.
- Reserve your table. A Wong needs booking weeks in advance. Kazan and Bbar are easier to get into, especially midweek.
- Consider nearby shows. The Victoria Palace Theatre (Hamilton) is right next door. If Wicked is sold out, check all West End shows for alternatives in the Victoria area.
- Make it an occasion. Victoria is well-connected to London's best hotels. Consider adding an overnight stay for a complete theatre break.
