Camera Obscura & World of Illusions admission tickets give access to one of Edinburgh's oldest purpose-built visitor attractions, housed in a Victorian building on the Royal Mile with views across the Old Town. The rooftop camera obscura itself dates to the 1850s and uses a rotating lens and mirror to project live, real-time panoramas of the city onto a concave table.
