What is From The Heart about?

From The Heart is Oscar winning lyricist Don Black's personal celebration of a lifetime in song, returning to the West End at the Garrick Theatre from 8 to 18 October 2026 for a strictly limited run of 15 performances. Following a sell out 2025 season, this is the most ambitious incarnation of the show yet, refined and expanded with new songs and much loved favourites.

Who stars in From The Heart?

A powerhouse cast stars Olivier Award nominee Frances Mayli McCann, of Bonnie and Clyde and The Great Gatsby, alongside EastEnders favourite Shona McGarty, seen on stage in 2:22 A Ghost Story. They join internationally celebrated star Caroline O'Connor, of Chicago and Mack and Mabel, Olivier Award winner Clive Rowe, of Guys and Dolls and Hadestown, and two time Olivier Award nominee Michael D. Xavier, of Sunset Boulevard. Directed by Nick Winston, every show also welcomes a surprise special guest before the evening culminates in a spectacular medley of Don Black's most iconic songs.

What songs feature in From The Heart?

Expect classics including Born Free, Ben, Love Changes Everything, With One Look, To Sir With Love and As If We Never Said Goodbye, plus a special salute to Don Black's long history with James Bond, from Diamonds Are Forever and Thunderball to The Man with the Golden Gun and The World Is Not Enough. The show also features brand new songs written with composers such as Gary Barlow, Natasha Bedingfield, David Arnold, Debbie Wiseman and Mike Batt.

When is From The Heart playing?

The run lasts from 8 to 18 October 2026 at the Garrick Theatre on Charing Cross Road, just 15 performances, each running 80 minutes with no interval. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
