Zoo Nights au London Zoo

There is a different mood to a zoo in the evening. Founded in Regent's Park in 1828, London Zoo is one of the world's oldest scientific zoos, and Zoo Nights shows it in a light day visitors never see: lower sun, longer shadows, and animals stirring as the temperature drops. With entry restricted to adults, the atmosphere is closer to a relaxed summer social than a family day out; groups drift between enclosures with a drink in hand, catching animal talks or playing the wildlife-themed higher or lower game between stops. The entertainment builds towards a gravity-defying aerial acrobatics finale, and street food stalls and bars keep everyone fed and watered throughout, at an additional cost. There is no fixed route, so you can head straight for the pygmy hippo or the Komodo dragons, or simply follow the quieter paths wherever they lead. Tickets are valid for one specific event date and cover general admission to the zoo grounds for the evening; daytime entry and premium add-ons such as the ZooTown and Champagne experiences are not included. It is a genuinely different way to experience one of London's classic attractions.
