St. Ermin's Hotel is a grand Victorian hotel tucked away in a quiet courtyard just off Broadway, moments from St James's Park. The hotel has a fascinating history — it was used by MI6 and the SOE during the Second World War, and Churchill himself was a regular visitor. Today, it's a beautifully restored four-star hotel with ornate lobby plasterwork, a sweeping staircase and elegant rooms that blend period character with modern comfort.
The Caxton Bar & Grill serves excellent British cuisine in a relaxed setting, and the hotel keeps its own beehives on the roof — the honey appears at breakfast and in cocktails. The location is superb for Westminster sights (Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace are all within walking distance) and the West End is a short Tube ride from St James's Park station. It's a hotel with real character and a sense of history that sets it apart.
