Il Waldorf Hilton

The Waldorf Hilton is an Edwardian landmark on Aldwych, the curved street that sweeps between Covent Garden and the Strand. Opened in 1908, the hotel's grand facade and elegant Palm Court — with its marble columns and ornate ceiling — recall the golden age of London hospitality. The famous Palm Court afternoon tea dances, revived in recent years, are a unique London experience.

The hotel's location is outstanding for theatregoers. The Aldwych Theatre, Novello Theatre and Theatre Royal Drury Lane are literally on the doorstep, while the main Shaftesbury Avenue theatres are a five to ten-minute walk.
