Hadestown is a genre-defying musical that intertwines two ancient Greek myths — that of Orpheus and Eurydice, and King Hades and Persephone — to create a hauntingly beautiful story about love, doubt and the lengths we'll go to for the people we care about. Set in a Depression-era New Orleans-inspired underworld, the show blends folk, jazz, blues and indie rock into something entirely new.
