About Mamma Mia! The Party

Mamma Mia! The Party tickets

Mamma Mia! The Party is a theatrical dining experience at The O2 in London, created with ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus. You take your seat in Nikos Taverna, a family-run taverna on the Greek island of Skopelos, and a warm, funny new story with an English book by Sandi Toksvig plays out all around you while you eat. The night ends with an ABBA disco, so come ready to dance.

This is a different show from Mamma Mia! the musical at the Novello Theatre, which is a seated stage musical in the West End.

What is included in your ticket

Every ticket includes a welcome drink, a four-course Greek meal served as sharing platters, the full live show and the ABBA disco afterwards. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free menus are available. Any other drinks are bought from the waiting staff on the night.

How the tables work

Tickets come in three tiers. Tier A tables are on the ground-floor courtyard and the terraces closest to the action, Tier B tables are on the upper terraces and balconies, and Tier C tables have restricted views because of support pillars or parts of the set. Every tier gets the same food, show and disco. There is no single stage, so you may turn in your seat to follow the story. Tables are allocated before you arrive, and smaller parties may share a table with other guests.

Planning your night at The O2

Doors open at 6.30pm for evening performances and at 12 noon for matinees, and the whole experience lasts about four hours. For the first hour or so you settle in with your welcome drink and starters before the show begins. North Greenwich on the Jubilee line is the closest Tube station, and Uber Boat by Thames Clippers services stop at North Greenwich Pier, about a 10-minute walk away.

The minimum age is 5, and guests under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian aged 18 or over.
