The Hunger Games: On Stage is a play, not a musical. The stage version covers the story of the first book only: the reaping, the training in the Capitol and the fight to survive in the arena. Fans of the books and films will know the key moments, and people new to the story still get the full plot from start to finish. The show runs about 2 hours 30 minutes, including an interval.
