About Miss Saigon
Book Miss Saigon tickets for the West End return
Miss Saigon returns to the West End at the Prince Edward Theatre for a strictly limited season from 13 May 2027 to 8 January 2028. Cameron Mackintosh, in association with Michael Harrison, brings Boublil and Schönberg's epic back to London, with a score that sweeps from The Heat Is On and The Movie in My Mind to Last Night of the World and The American Dream.
Book your dates for the Prince Edward Theatre season on this page. The show is recommended for ages 13 and above and contains themes of war, violence, prostitution and adult content; children under 5 will not be admitted.
What Miss Saigon is about
Set during the final days of the Vietnam War, Miss Saigon follows Kim, a young Vietnamese woman who meets Chris, an American GI, in a Saigon bar run by The Engineer. They fall in love and are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. Kim then begins a long journey of survival to find Chris again, while he has no idea he has fathered a son. The new production renews the score and storytelling for contemporary audiences without softening the stakes.
If you want another Boublil and Schönberg classic already playing London, compare Les Misérables tickets. For a different West End rock-opera energy opening sooner, see Jesus Christ Superstar tickets at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Runtime, age guidance and best seats
Expect about 2 hours 40 minutes including an interval. That length suits evening plans with a clear break; afternoon performances can be kinder if you are travelling with teens. Best seats usually sit in the stalls or the front of the dress circle for face and helicopter-sequence sightlines; use the live seat map when booking to balance sightline and price. Higher circles cost less and still work if you accept a steeper rake.
