About Harry Potter Studio Tour

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London — The Making of Harry Potter is the ultimate experience for fans of the Wizarding World. Located at the actual Leavesden Studios where all eight Harry Potter films were made, this extraordinary walk-through experience lets you step onto the real sets, see genuine props and costumes, and discover the filmmaking secrets behind the magic.

Walk through the Great Hall where the cast ate meals between takes, stroll down Diagon Alley, peer into Dumbledore's office and step inside the Forbidden Forest. The outdoor backlot features a full-scale Hogwarts Express on Platform 9¾ and a recreation of Privet Drive. The tour culminates with a jaw-dropping 1:24 scale model of Hogwarts Castle that was used for every exterior shot in the films — it's enormous and absolutely spellbinding.

Why you'll love it

  • Walk through the actual Great Hall set where the films were shot
  • Stroll down Diagon Alley, step onto Platform 9¾ and board the Hogwarts Express
  • See over 4,000 genuine props and costumes from all eight films

This exceeded every expectation. I'm a massive Potter fan and I was in tears walking into the Great Hall. Allow at least 4 hours — there's so much to see.

We took our 9-year-old and he was absolutely spellbound. The interactive elements are brilliant — he got to ride a broomstick and cast spells. Pure magic.

Even my husband who hasn't seen the films was impressed by the scale and craftsmanship. The Hogwarts model at the end is breathtaking. Book the earliest slot.
