The Clydeside Tour is an expert-guided experience inside a working Glasgow distillery, taking visitors through every stage of Scottish whisky production. Your guide leads you through the full distilling process, from malting and mashing to fermentation and distillation, with traditional methods visible at each step along the way.

The tour takes in impressive copper wash and spirit stills, illustrating the craftsmanship behind each whisky's character. Throughout the 75 to 90 minute visit, your guide connects the history of whisky production with the contemporary distilling methods you observe in person.

The tour concludes in the historic tasting room, where a guided tasting of carefully selected single malts is served by your host. Your guide explains cask influences and the complex flavours that define each dram, exploring how various factors create distinct taste profiles across the range.

Good to Know

The guided visit runs for approximately 75 to 90 minutes, including the tour and tasting session. Arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time. All ages are welcome on the tour, but participation in the whisky tasting requires valid photo identification to verify legal drinking age.

The distillery is fully wheelchair accessible throughout all areas. Between 19th September and 6th October 2025, production pauses for annual maintenance during silent season, but tours continue as normal. Limited parking is available nearby, though public transport connections are excellent.

After your tour, you are welcome to continue exploring in the tasting and bar area, or visit the distillery shop to browse Clydeside single malts and other Scottish whiskies. Photography is generally permitted in designated areas, with your guide indicating any restricted zones during the visit.
