Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you discover and book tickets, experiences and travel on tickets.uk.

Last updated July 2026

1. Who We Are and Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of tickets.uk and any related services (the “Platform”). The Platform is operated by tickadoo Inc., registered at 447 Broadway, New York, NY 10013, United States (“tickadoo”, “we”, “us”).

By browsing the Platform, creating an account or making a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Platform.

2. What tickets.uk Does

tickets.uk is a discovery and booking platform for UK theatre tickets, attractions, experiences, cinema listings, hotels and travel. Experiences listed on the Platform are supplied by third-party venues, producers, ticketing partners and operators (“Suppliers”).

  • When you book, your booking is processed by tickadoo and fulfilled by the relevant Supplier.
  • Your contract for the event, experience or stay itself is with the Supplier that provides it. The Supplier's own conditions of entry and attendance apply alongside these Terms.
  • Cinema showtimes, flight prices and hotel rates are provided by third parties and can change between the time they are displayed and the time of booking.

3. Bookings, Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise, and include VAT where applicable.
  • “From” prices show the lowest price available across upcoming dates and ticket types. The price for your chosen date, time and seats is always confirmed at checkout before you pay.
  • A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email with your booking reference. Until then, no contract for the booking exists.
  • Payments are processed by a PCI-DSS certified payment processor. Card details are never stored on our servers.
  • In the rare case of an obvious pricing error, we or the Supplier may cancel the affected booking and refund you in full.

4. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds

  • Cancellation and exchange rules vary by experience and are shown before you complete a booking. Some tickets, particularly theatre tickets, are non-refundable once purchased except where required by law.
  • If an event is cancelled by the venue or Supplier, you will be offered a refund or an exchange in line with the Supplier's policy and applicable law.
  • If a performance or experience is rescheduled, your tickets will normally remain valid for the new date, and the Supplier's policy will govern refund options.
  • To request a cancellation or raise an issue with a booking, contact support@tickadoo.com with your booking reference.

5. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • We may suspend or close accounts used fraudulently, abusively or in breach of these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including fraudulent bookings or payment fraud
  • Buy tickets for the purpose of unauthorised commercial resale
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Platform

7. Content and Intellectual Property

The Platform's editorial content, design, trademarks and software are owned by tickadoo or its licensors. Show imagery and production information belong to their respective rights holders and are used to describe the listed experiences.

Where you create content on the Platform (for example a shared trip or a watch party), you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display that content so the feature works as intended. You are responsible for what you share.

8. Editorial Content and Verdicts

Guides, blog posts and “is it worth it” verdicts on the Platform are editorial opinions written to help you decide, not statements by Suppliers. Prices, schedules and availability referenced in editorial content reflect the position at the time of writing and can change.

9. Third-Party Services

Some parts of the Platform are powered by third parties, including flight search (Kiwi.com) and hotel inventory partners. Bookings made through those services are subject to the third party's own terms, which are shown alongside their service. Links to external websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

10. Liability

We work hard to keep the Platform accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, tickadoo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform, or for the acts or omissions of Suppliers in delivering an event, experience or stay.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

11. Your Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you benefit from mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits those statutory rights.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, except that consumers always retain the protection of mandatory consumer laws in their country of residence, and may bring proceedings in their local courts where the law allows.
